Gates open at 2:00 pm for guests that have reserved a cabin at Camp Waldemar. Check-in is ongoing throughout the afternoon, and guests are welcome to explore the grounds before the evening festivities. All guests, including those staying off-site, are invited to the Welcome Party that will begin at 7:00 pm. Dinner and drinks will be served, so please go to the RSVP tab on our website to reserve your spot!

7:00 pm - Rehearsal Dinner - Wedding Party / Invitation Only (Dining Hall)

7:00 pm - Welcome Party (Waldemar Playhouse)

SATURDAY: APRIL 29, 2023

Embrace your inner camper and experience a traditional Camp Waldemar day! Early bird coffee and breakfast will be served in the Dining Hall, followed by a day filled with classic activities such as swimming, canoeing, hiking, archery, pickle ball, tennis and MORE! If you are staying off-site and want to join in for the fun on Saturday, please contact Lori Appleton to reserve your meal for Breakfast and Lunch.

8:00 am- Reveille Bugle

8:00-9:30 am- Breakfast* (Dining Hall)

9:30 am-12:00 pm- Camp Activities (Locations dependent on activity choice)

12:00 pm- Surprise Hill Country Demonstration - you DON’T want to miss this! (Dining Hall Porch)

12:30-2:00 pm- Lunch* (Dining Hall)

2:00 pm-4:30 pm- Camp Activities (Dependent on activity choice)

6:00 pm- Wedding Ceremony (Tejas Chapel)

6:30 pm- Cocktail Hour (The Pier) followed by Reception (The Lawn)

11:00 pm - After Party (Surprise Location!)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

What to wear: During the day — Camp clothes! tennis shoes, shorts and t-shirts, athleisure, etc. The grounds of Waldemar are designed for exploration (steep hills and rocky steps) so please feel free to wear your most comfortable walking shoes for all events!

Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Dinner — Hill Country Chic Attire: blazers, jeans, cocktail dresses, cowboy boots

Wedding Ceremony and Reception — Black Tie Optional: tux or suit for the men, long to midi formal dresses and block heels/comfortable shoes are encouraged for the ladies
